So far not one MSM outlet has highlighted the prayer warriors of D Day. All the land, sea and air warriors are extolled in all the outlets, but no thought is given to the answered prayer of God`s people.
The window of opportunity presented by the favourable weather conditions came about as an answer to prayer. The UK was a very different nation 75 years ago, there were far many more true Christians than there are today, consequently there was more prayer warriors interceding for a deliverance.
The prayer warriors of D Day did not seek medals or fame, they merely sought God`s blessing upon the nation.
If true Christians in the UK today, were to call for a period of national prayer and repentance, so God would deliver the nation from ungodliness and false religion, they would be probably labelled a “hate group” and their prayers designated “hate speech.”
God tells us in his word, men ought always to pray, it ought to be as natural as breathing. Sadly, it is easier to faint than it is to pray for the natural man.
