THE BALLAD OF TUMBLE DOWN DICK

Lesser men would quickly crumble, if they had to endure the type of persecution Tumble Down Dick has to endure on  regular basis!

TDD1

Tumble Down Dick aka Lesserman aka Smallerman, nobody messes with Tumble Down Dick!

The poor man cannot even take a holiday, without being hounded by a merciless MSM, who seek to imply he is involved in some sort of shady dealings?

I mean to say, “What is the big deal? What is all the fuss about?” Dosn`t everybody have a rich old friend who pays for their exotic holidays in exotic locations?

It is all very normal in the world Tumble Down Dick inhabits?

When I first read about Tumble Down`s latest adventures, a very famous song sprang to mind, it is a song everyone knows!

If the lyrics were slightly changed it could easily be regarded as; “The Ballad Of Tumble Down Dick,” plus his cronies.

The altered lyrics of the first two  verses are below you can fill the rest in yourself;

City boys just seem to find out early
How to open doors with just a smile
A rich old man
And he won’t have to worry
He’ll dress up all in lace and go in style

Late at night a big old house gets lonely
I guess every form of refuge has it`s price
And it breaks his heart to think his love is only
Given to a man with hands as cold as ice
The chorus is very, very, very, very famous, once you have heard it, you will never, never, never, never forget it

After thinking about of of this, I can only conclude, the reason why Tumble Down does not crumble as lesser men would do, is because he get his Spiritual guidance from the famous, “Preacher On The Fence!”

Psalm 12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

The whole of Psalm 12 is below, it is well worth a study and meditation.

(To the chief Musician upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.)

1 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.

They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffeth at him.

The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.
