Yesterday, the headlines of a few news articles caught my eye. They were speaking about some woman called “Minnie Driver.” It was the strangeness of the name which caught my attention.

After checking out who she was,  I found out she had appeared in a movie in which the sexual and physical abuse of young boys was the major theme.

It turns out the victims of the abuse eventually got the justice they deserved though it happens in a complicated and contrived way.

Just imagine if all the abused “Sleepers” in N.Ireland were to get their justice in such a manner?

There would be quite a few RC priests and other members of the “Professional classes” who would be quickly eradicated from society.

There does seem to be some controversy about whether the book upon which the movie was based is actually true. The authorities in the USA are never going to publicly admit that such things could ever take place in youth prisons I suspect.
