It is now apparent all the “Unionist” political parties were aware of the “Collusion” examined by the Smithwick tribunnal yet they all willingly conceded a role for the Irish government in the internal affairs of N.Ireland. Plus they willingly take part in so-called “Cross-border bodies.”
Not only that, the “Unionist” parties are also aware of the role played by the Irish government in establishing and arming the “Provisionals” in the late 1960s and early 1970s, yet knowing all this they still conceded political ground to the Irish government?????????
Unlike many other N.Ireland Unionists, I hold the view that the activities of the Irish government in formenting, colluding and strategising terrorism against the Unionists of N.Ireland was also willingly facilitated by the so-called “British” intelligence services.
Even after being on the receiving end of “terrorism” for almost 50 years, the majority of “Unionists” still have not worked out just exactly who their real enemy is. For most of them, it is a truth too far and they cannot handle it.
