Only a few months ago the DUP had calculated they no longer needed “the fundamentalist vote,” they made this clear by running an “openly gay,” candidate in the council elections, seeming not to fear any drop in their vote.
God has many ways of humbling the proud, providence has now ordained that the DUP needs every vote it can get, in order to save the seat of the deputy leader and a few others.
