PHOTOGRAPH ARCHIVES

One early morning in approximately 1982, I was walking through Central Park in Manhattan and to my surprise I saw a man arouse from his sleep on a park bench, he had been sleeping on the bench all night.

He had what seemed to be all his earthly possessions in a supermarket trolley beside him. Later on that day when I had my camera on me, I got a couple of pictures of him, you can see him below, his name was Gene Palma.

In the picture below, you can see a straight black line up his shirt, he got that line from lying on the park bench night after night.

He was the guy who appeared in a scene of the movie “Taxidriver.”

I was telling a Facebook friend about this last night and he replied “lol Thats showbiz!”

A few days ago, I posted more photograph archives on the other site, you can see them using this link, if you are interested.

Time flies by so quickly don`t you think?

Psalm 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
