I am utterly convinced that Donald Trump has NOT made his recent announcements upon Jerusalem inspired by genuine reasons, however, it does bring about a situation which highlights what the Bible teaches about the city of Jerusalem.

Zechariah 12:2 Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.

3 And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

Could it be that his real intention of recognising Jerusalem, is to ignite a serious conflagration?  The Vatican has big plans for Jerusalem and the Middle east?

Perhaps, he is merely doing it for cynical electoral reasons. There is an important election is Alabama in which it is thought the “evangelical vote” will play an important role?
