YOU CAN TELL A MAN BY THE COMPANY HE KEEPS ?

Quite a few of the idiomatic sayings which we use on an every day basis have their origins in the scriptures.

The well-known phrase, “You can tell a man by the company he keeps” may well have originated from the words of Proverbs 13:20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

If the legacy you leave behind consists of being called “a friend” by IRA/MI5 agent J118, then you have most certainly have been walking in defiance to God.
