I would hazard a guess that most people in N.Ireland had never heard of the word “Cerberus” until just a few months ago.
It is a name that has been used by quite a few entities. During the second world war it was a code name used by the German navy to describe their daring plan to ensure three of their major battleships sailed right through the English channel, much of it in broad daylight. Something akin to carrying out a brazen daylight robbery!
Just discovered that “Operation Cerberus” was the German`s name for “the Channel Dash” a few days ago.
You can only presume that the Germans saw the three battleships as their 3 headed dog?
The word must have a strong appeal to a certain mentality. Then again, the Nazi`s and the CIA do have a lot in common.
Operation Paperclip, how the Nazis became the CIA!
2 Tim 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
