Great public anticipation and excitement surrounded the birth of the latest Royal baby. The Bible has recorded other births which were attended with great anticipation and wonder.

Luke 1:66 And all they that heard them laid them up in their hearts, saying, What manner of child shall this be! And the hand of the Lord was with him.

Luke 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.

Luke 2:36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; 37 And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day. 38 And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Not only does the Bible describe the joyous anticipated arrival of new born babies, it also sets out the guidelines by which babies are to be raised. This rule applies to ALL babies both Royal and non Royal.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

It also sets out the true wisdom which must be presented to all children by their parents. All children are to be taught the scriptures and taught the importance of the scriptures. They are to be taught that there is only ONE WAY of salvation and that is by Christ alone.

Anyone in the modern UK who follows these guidelines in raising their children will be denounced as hate filled, narrow minded, homophobic bigots by all the God haters of the current day and age!
