Matt Baggott has entered the world of morality, he has declared what he believes is right and wrong. Today he has pronounced it is not criminal to put up flags but it is wrong, in certain circumstances!
I wonder what his view is on the use of Super Injunctions? Would he say it is not criminal but it is wrong, or would he just say nothing? For instance; if an Assistant Chief Constable was to take out a Super Injunction to cover up an “indiscretion,” would Matt Baggott say it was not criminal but it was wrong?
I remember reading a very interesting explanation to this fascinating portion of the Bible. Apparently, it was claimed the writing on the wall consisted of the following consonant letters in the Hebrew language; Mn Mn Tkl Uphrsn
The Babylonian “wise men” did not know what the letters signified so they had to send for Daniel. As Daniel was a Hebrew and knew the Hebrew language, he knew right away where to place the vowels between the consonant letters. Thus Daniel was able to deliver the message precisely.
Dan 5:25 And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin.
