Let`s get one thing straight, the people who involved themselves with the “United Irishmen” were most certainly not Protestants! They may have been half witted Presbyterians, or half wits from a Presbyterian background but they were not Protestants!
All the Protestants and most of the Presbyterians in Ireland made sure they had nothing to do with the United Irishmen.
A Protestant is a Born Again believer, someone who is regenerate, to put it more simply a Protestant is a Christian. N.Ireland is full of people who think they are Protestants!! Sadly they are not, they maybe “Unionists” or “Loyalists” but they are not Protestants. All you have to do is look at the moronic garbage and bad language which appears on the “Loyalist Protest sites” and you will soon realise you are not dealing with real Protestants who are regenerate by the Grace of God.
The people who got involved with the United Irishmen were humanistic numbskulls like David Ford. David Ford is a Presbyterian but he is definitely not a Protestant. In the words of W P Nicholson, he is a “Brat of the Devil who is on his way Hell.”
One famous Protestant Doctrine is known as “The Ordo Salutis.” I will guarantee you not many people who call themselves Protestants in N. Ireland have a clue what that means!!

There are only two types of people in the world, the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Only the seed of the woman can call themselves Protestants. They are the ones God has chosen and they are the ones who he is going to regenerate.
