While the MSM coverage of Magill was hilarious, it was not suprising or unexpected, as most of the MSM like to revel in Spiritual darkness, the next source I looked at was beyond belief, nearly had me falling of my chair in laughter.
At the very outset it displays a lack of even very basic Bible knowledge. It refers to Magill as “Father” an act which is forbidden by scripture. You are not to call any “Spiritual leader” Father.
Matthew 23:9And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.
It goes on say Magill came to visit a bonfire “in true Christian spirit,” this would be hard to do as he is not a Christian.
To compound the foolishness the article goes on to say Magill`s contribution to the funeral was designed to bring a “Christian message.” Obviously the author is unaware that Babylonian priests do not bring Christian messages as they are not Christians!
If Magill were a Christian he would have ensured no left the Cathedral without being told “Ye Must Be Born Again,” something to which he is a stranger.
He should have announced that all those involved in the murder would be excommunicated from the “Church,” plus he should have condemned the RA5 organisation for collapsing the government at Stormont.
Magill does not even vaguely resemble a “Christian” and neither does whoever penned that article for Unionist Voice.com.
I will close with the well known Disciples prayer were it shows the appropriate circumstance for using the term “Father.”
