Harrowing and horrendous news stories are emerging from the contaminated blood scandal. It is a solemn warning to all of us about the unseen dangers and circumstances that affect our daily lives.

From the cradle to the grave we need to be protected from unknown dangers which can plunge our lives into disaster.

That is why the Lord teaches his people to pray, “Deliver us from evil” in the disciples prayer.

Hopefully some justice will be done and be seen to be done to the victims and survivors of this scandal.

Matthew 6: 9-13  After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.
