Unless there is a miraculous intervention which changes the fortune of the “Unionist community” there will soon come a time when commemorative events like this are frowned upon and shunned. They will be portrayed as “divisive”, “an attack on the peace process”, “unseemly aberrations in the New Ulster,” etc, etc, etc.

Just imagine if someone had said 50 years ago, “The IRA would be in the government of N.Ireland in 2013.”   They would have been regarded as insane and disregarded.
