Unbelievable lies, drivel and fantasy have been pouring out of the usually empty had of Edwin Lundy.   He has been focusing on the plans for the Maze site.  He wants to send the world a message that “terrorism” has failed!!

“We will ensure that the story that is told is fair and it is balanced and it reflects what happened. And what happened was that over 25 years terrorism reigned in Northern Ireland. Thank God we don’t have that today.

“We need to reflect on that, that was not a good thing. The message that needs to go out to the world is that terrorism failed.”

 

Unfortunately he does not seem to notice and he probably hopes no one else notices that the terrorists are now the Terrocratic government of N.Ireland.

It gets worse as it goes along. The “terrorists” are insisting all sides will be represented at the Maze terror shrine. You will notice there is one major flaw in this supposed solution.  The intelligence services such as MI5 and RUC Special Branch will not be represented.  If we are going to have everyone at the party let’s have these two government agencies represented.

They can reveal their side of the story and give us the names and details of all the informers on the so-called “Republican” side and the names and details of all the informers on the so-called “Loyalist” side.  If that scenario were the solution to the Maze development project, I am sure a huge number of people would be willing to pay money to hear the details from MI5 and RUC Special Branch revealed, as a matter of fact it would be a sell out!

Somehow I do not think to many “Republican” or “Loyalist”  community workers would be showing their faces anywhere near the Maze or anywhere else in public if such a proposition was implemented.

I cannot see any problems with this solution can you? After all everyone is on ceasefire, and we have a “Peace-process”  and the so-called “Republican Movement” are all into “Reconciliation” these days, we now have a way to demonstrate how genuine they are about “Reconciliation.”   It is time for the “Security Services” to out the touts.
