WHAT IS GOING ON ON WIKIPEDIA?

Wikipedia has a BIG QUESTION MARK hanging over it!

Over the last few weeks I have been looking at some Wikipedia sites. Most of them I have not looked at for quite a long time. I was astonished at how much information has been added to them in the intervening time. Obviously someone, or some group of people are making a very big effort to give their version of  N. Ireland events and recent history.

On one site it can be seen someone is named as the perpetrator of a murder!! Surely the individual involved would not be amused.  Some of the sites relate to ongoing controversial matters. I will provide some links and you can form your own judgement as to who and why all the frenzied Wikipedia activity is taking place??

For some reason this case and the calls for re investigation are gathering momentum.  Now the link to a Wikipedia page in reference to the same event.  Battle at Springmartin.

Here is another event which involved the murder of two Protestants in the Lower Newtownards Road area.  Early IRA murders.

One Wikipedia entry where someone has been busy really caught my eye.  It was this page here.

Note the particular section I have posted here……… “He trained with the US Special Forces and was a member of the Special Air Service‘s (SAS) 22nd Battalion.[2] He served briefly in Oman where he was involved in counter-insurgency activities.”

This is the first time I have seen it in print that the individual in question had been in the SAS.  After researching the internet I found Martin Dillon seems to be the source of this information, it is contained in one of his books.

The funny thing is, in the early 1970`s Albert Bakers` mother tried to tell the local MSM her son had been in the SAS but at the time no one was willing to take her story seriously!!  It seems the matter is being taken more seriously today.

Please look through a number of the Wikipedia pages linked to the troubles, particularly the early years and ask yourself, “What is going on on Wikipedia?  Who has most to gain from all of this?”

It is important to accurately record the events of the past, if it is done with the right motive it can be an important aid in preventing the mistakes of the past re-occurring.  Somehow I do not think this is the motive  of those who are currently at work on Wikipedia? What do you think?

Remember,  it was not that long ago a computer in the Vatican was found to be responsible for whitewashing the Wikipedia entry of Gerry Pinnochio Adams!!

Ezra 4:15
That search may be made in the book of the records of thy fathers: so shalt thou find in the book of the records, and know that this city is a rebellious city, and hurtful unto kings and provinces, and that they have moved sedition within the same of old time: for which cause was this city destroyed.
